Rinu Oduala and Macaroni two of the End SARS protest frontliners have not found the 24-hour curfew declared in Lagos state funny and they have insisted the peaceful protests must continue although they would have to take more responsibility.

The state wide curfew which starts by 4pm on Tuesday was declared immediately it was reported that a police station was set on fire in the state. There were also reports of clashes that resulted to injuries in Ajah, Lagos state, although the clash was said not to come from End SARS protesters but cult gangs.

According to Babajide Sanwo-Olu the governor of Lagos state, the protests which started peacefully have now degenerated into a monster that is threatening the well-being of the society and must be stopped.

Reacting to this statement was Rinu Oduala who called the 24-hour curfew a joke, citing the failure of the government to use the police to arrest the hoodlums when they have been using the same police to harass and arrest the protesters.

Another person who reacted to this was popular Nigerian comedian, Macaroni. He insisted that the protests must continue since the government have failed to listen to their demands but said they will have to take responsibility as they cannot continue to allow thugs harass them and other innocent citizens.

Despite all that, the fact still remains that from 4pm today nobody in Lagos is expected to be found outside their homes unless they are essential service providers and first responders.

Here is how some other Nigerians reacted to the imposed 24-hour curfew
